Anya Samuels, MS, CAGS

School Psychologist & Educational Psychologist

Anya has nearly two decades of dedicated service as a licensed school psychologist, working with children age 2-22. Her experience includes conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, consulting with school staff, and providing individual and group counseling services.

Anya possesses expertise in all aspects of the IEP and 504 processes, as she has also worked as an evaluation team leader, preschool chair and 504 coordinator. Anya’s extensive experience working on special education teams has also allowed her to provide private services as an educational consultant.  In this capacity, Anya has guided families through the complex IEP process, including understanding evaluation results, determining appropriate services, and developing appropriate IEPs.

Unlike some educational advocates who may employ adversarial tactics, Anya's background equips her to provide empathetic and collaborative support, fostering constructive dialogue and efficient meetings. Furthermore, Anya's ability to observe students in their classroom environments enables her to offer tailored suggestions, ensuring that each child's learning needs are met effectively.
