Comprehensive Care Management: Feeling overwhelmed by a new diagnosis or a long/conflicting list of recommendations? We can help. CCM is a personalized service where parents meet with a psychologist to review all evaluations, therapies, and concerns related to their child’s development. The goal is to integrate this information into a cohesive understanding and create a clear, actionable plan for next steps, ensuring that your child receives the most effective support tailored to their unique needs. CCM sessions may include treatment recommendations, but are generally meant to be short-term. For more in-depth therapeutic treatment, see our Therapy page.

Observations: A psychologist from our team can visit your child's school to perform an observation. During the observation, the psychologist carefully monitors your child in their natural school setting, taking note of their interactions with peers and teachers, their responses to classroom activities, and any potential triggers for behavioral issues. This observation allows the psychologist to gather valuable insights that inform the assessment process or to personalized intervention strategies in therapy, ensuring that your child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially. The psychologist's presence in the school setting provides a comprehensive, real-world perspective that is essential for creating effective and tailored support plans.

IEP Meetings: Yearly IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings are an important tool to ensure your child is getting the support they need. When a CFPN psychologist attends your child’s IEP meeting, it brings specialized expertise to the table, ensuring that your child receives the most appropriate and effective educational support. During the meeting, the psychologist collaborates with teachers, school staff, and you as parents to discuss your child's unique learning needs, strengths, and challenges based on their time assessing your child. They provide valuable insights from assessments and observations, helping to develop tailored goals and interventions that address both academic and behavioral aspects. Their involvement ensures that the IEP is comprehensive, evidence-based, and focused on fostering your child's overall development and success in the school environment.
